History

Founded in 1997, Gayathri Educational Academy was established by Dr. Manoj M. with the vision of providing exemplary healthcare education in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Academy is now into its 29th Year of Quality Nursing and Para-Medical Education. Initially starting as a G.N.M. [Gayathri Nursing Foundation school of Nursing] and Paramedical Courses [Gayathri Institute of Paramedical Sciences], the institute laid the groundwork for modern nursing in the area.

Over the decades, Gayathri Educational Academy grew significantly. In 2002, the academy was upgraded to offer a four-year B.Sc. Nursing degree and which is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. Following the years, we started the PG [M.Sc. Nursing] course in 2008 and in 2009 Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course. The latest addition to our academy we have started Allied Health Sciences [AHS] courses which is B.Sc. A.T & O.T, B.Sc. M.I.T, B.Sc. M.L.T in the year 2025. Throughout its history, the institute has been committed to producing highly skilled, compassionate nursing professionals.

Today, Gayathri Group of Institutions is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC), Bangalore and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore and offers comprehensive undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. We continue to build on our legacy of excellence, integrating modern healthcare technology with the core values of nursing.

The Academy has successfully trained over Five Thousand Five Hundred Nurses and Para Medics who are placed in various health sectors as Quality Staff across the Globe.
